Cross River armed youths kill ratings in Akwa Ibom

Armed youths from Odukpani nearby government vicinity in move River state have killed about 50 persons when they invaded Akpan Mfrekim in Akan Obio,
a fishing agreement of Uruan LGA, Akwa Ibom state.
The Uruan LGA Chairman, Dr Edwin Okon, who stated this on Monday, lamented the ordeal of his people inside the palms of their move River neighbours.
He noted that the protracted crises have compelled the last humans to flee and are searching for refuge elsewhere.
He said that farming and fishing, which were the main sources of livelihood of his human beings, had been stricken by the invasion of the groups by using the pass River armed youths.
Okon referred to as for the cooperation of security agencies to reinforce security in the affected communities by way of presenting surveillance gunboats and different protection infrastructure in the affected communities.
The cross River country Commissioner of Police, Mr. Donald Awunah, said, “someone referred to as me that some hoodlums have been attacking fishing port however no details as to where the vicinity is placed.”
