Police fault social media claim, say no terrorist nabbed in Abuja

In reaction to a trending story within the social media, the Police in Abuja have stated that they did not arrest folks with Improvised Explosive devices at FCT-Nasarawa boundary.

The police said this in a assertion issued by means of its spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, in Abuja on Friday.
Manzah said the rumour of such arrest changed into the handiwork of detractors who're hell bent on instilling worry and needless panic within the minds of peace-loving citizens.
Manzah stated the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Muhammad Mustafa, reassured citizens of good enough protection and protection of lives and assets within the territory.
He said Mustafa also entreated social media users to constantly affirm information before circulating such via their respective systems.
The Police used the opportunity to tell residents that they might practice shooting at the variety in Karshi on November 26 from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Manzah said the exercising turned into a part of the training routine of the Nigeria Police.
He enjoined members of the general public, mainly those around the Nyanaya, Jikwoyi and Karshi axis, not to panic.
